Weep, and you weep alone.
ငိုရင္ေတာ့ သင္တစ္ေယာက္တည္းပဲ ငိုရလိမ့္မယ္။

For the sad old earth must borrow its mirth.
၀မ္းနည္းပူေဆြးေနတဲ့ ေလာကႀကီးက သင့္ဆီက ရယ္စရာေလးကို ငွားရမယ္။

But has trouble enough of its own.
ဒါေပမယ့္ သူ.မွာလည္း သူ.ဒုက္ခနဲ.သူဘဲ။

Sing and the hills will answer.
သီခ်င္းဆိုလိုက္ပါ။ ေတာင္တန္းေတြက ပဲ့တင္သံ ျပန္လာလိမ့္မယ္။

Sigh, and it is lost on the air.
သက္ျပင္းခ်ရင္ေတာ့ ေလထဲမွာ ေပ်ာက္သြားလိမ့္မယ္။

The echoes bounce to a joyful sound.
ေပ်ာ္စရာအသံကို ပဲ့တင္သံက ျပန္ကန္ေပးပါတယ္။

But shrink from voicing care.
ေသာကေတြ ဒုက္ခေတြ ကိုေတာ့ သူျပန္ကန္မေပးဘူး။ တြန္႕ဆုတ္သြားတယ္။

Rejoice, and men will seek you.
ေပ်ာ္ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္ရႊင္ေနပါ။ လူေတြက သင့္ကိုေတြ႕ေအာင္ လိုက္ရွာလိမ့္မယ္။

Grieve, and they turn and go.
၀မ္းနည္းေနရင္ေတာ့ သူတို႕လွည္႕ၿပီး ေတာ႔ ထြက္သြားလိမ့္မယ္။

They want full measure of all your pleasure.
သူတို႕က သင့္ရဲ႕ ေပ်ာ္ရႊင္မွုဳေတြ အားလံုးကို အၿပည္႕အ၀ လိုခ်င္တယ္။

But they do not need your woe.
ဒါေပမယ့္ သင့္ရဲ႕ဒုက္ခေတြကိုေတာ့ သူတို႕မလိုအပ္ဘူး။

Be glad, and your friends are many.
ေပ်ာ္ေပ်ာ္ေနပါ။ သင့္မွာ မိတ္ေဆြေတြ အမ်ားႀကီး ရွိေနမယ္။

Be sad, and you lose them all.
စိတ္ဆင္းရဲေနရင္ေတာ့ သင့္မိတ္ေဆြေတြ အားလံုးကို ဆံုးရွံးသြားလိမ့္မယ္။

There are none to decline your nectared wine.
ပန္း၀တ္ရည္နဲ႔ လုပ္ထားတဲ့၀ိုင္ကို သင္ကေပးရင္ ျငင္းမယ့္သူမရွိဘူး။

But alone you must drink life’s gall.
ဒါေပမယ့္ ဘ၀သည္းေျခရည္ကိုေတာ့ သင္တစ္ေယာက္တည္းဘဲ ေသာက္ရလိမ့္မယ္။

Feast, and your halls are crowded.
စားပဲြေသာက္ပဲြႀကီးလုပ္။ သင့္အခန္းမွာ လူေတြျပည္႔ၾကပ္ ေနလိမ့္မယ္။

Fast, and the world goes by.
ငတ္ေနရင္ေတာ့ ဘယ္သူကမွ လာမွာမဟုတ္ေတာ့ဘူး။

Succeed and give, and it helps you to live.
ေအာင္ျမင္ေအာင္လုပ္ပါ။ ေပးပါကမ္းပါ။ အဲဒါက သင့္ဘ၀ကို အဆင္ေျပဖို႔ အေထာက္အပ့ံ ၿဖစ္လိမ့္မယ္။

But no man can help you die.
ဒါေပမယ့္ ေသရမယ့္အေရးမွာ ဘယ္သူကမွ သင့္ကိုအကူအညီ မေပးႏိုင္ဘူး။

There is room in the hall of pleasure. For a long and lordly train.
ေပ်ာ္ပဲဲြခန္းမႀကီးထဲမွာ လူအုပ္ႀကီး တခမ္းတနားသြားႏုိင္ဖို႔ အတြက္ ေနရာအက်ယ္ႀကီးရွိပါတယ္။
